About and More

Only in Christ is a welcoming online resource for anyone seeking clarity in their Christian faith and understanding.

The inception of this site came about because of a frustration with finding online preaching and resources based on sound doctrine. If you only rely on Christian radio, TV, or internet videos, it is hard to know what to believe. So many of these outlets stray from the actual teaching of the Word of God. Many have good intentions, but some purposely promote false doctrines.

This site strives to provide strong, Bible-based teaching and resources rooted in sound doctrine — doctrine that comes from the Bible alone, not from tradition, popular opinion, or personal preference. The goal of every post and resource here is to deepen your understanding of God’s Word, not man’s understanding of it. While some of our resources confront hard truths, we hope that our joy in becoming a disciple in Christ will also become your joy.

We work diligently to ensure that everything presented on this site is accurate, and that every church we link to holds to sound doctrine. However, we are human, and therefore imperfect — sinners saved by grace, not men without fault. So, as with any site, you should measure what we say against what the Bible itself says:

“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11, KJV)

We would rather you test every word here against Scripture than take our word for it — because in the end, it’s not our teaching that matters, but His.
